Acceptance

By using Lexorbit, you accept these terms. If you don't accept them, don't use the app, and you can delete your account.

Service

Lexorbit shows public YouTube videos with YouTube's official embedded player and lets you learn words from their subtitles. Videos and subtitles belong to their owners; Lexorbit is not affiliated with YouTube or Google.

By watching videos, you also agree to follow the YouTube Terms of Service:

Account

You can use the app as a guest; a guest account is tied to your device and may be lost if you delete the app. If you link your account with Apple, Google, or email, your progress is available on every device. You're responsible for your account's security.

Subscriptions

• Paid plans are sold through the App Store or Google Play; the price is shown before you buy.
• Unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the period, the subscription renews automatically for the same period and price. The fee is charged to your store account when you confirm the purchase.
• Cancellation and management are done in your store account's subscription settings. Refund requests are subject to Apple's or Google's rules.
• Deleting your account doesn't cancel your subscription; cancel it in the store first.
• On iOS, Apple's Standard License Agreement (EULA) also applies.

AI-generated content

Word meanings, example sentences, explanations, and the daily reading are generated by AI and may contain mistakes. They're for learning; don't use them as your only source for important decisions.

Rules of use

• Don't submit fake or altered subtitles.
• Don't use automated tools on the app or server to scrape data in bulk, overload it, or bypass limits.
• Don't try to copy the app by reverse engineering or break its security.

We may suspend or delete accounts that don't follow these rules.

Intellectual property

Lexorbit's design, code, word database, and brand belong to us. The words you save and your notes belong to you.

Liability

We provide the service "as is"; we can't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. A video on YouTube may be removed or its subtitles may change. To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect damages. Your legal rights as a consumer are reserved.

Termination

You can close your account anytime via Profile > Account > Delete my account. We may change or end the service; we'll announce changes affecting a paid period in advance.

Purchases on lexorbit.app

Besides the App Store and Google Play, Lexorbit Pro can be bought on lexorbit.app. Web orders are processed by Paddle.com, our merchant of record, which also handles payment, tax and invoices. Paddle’s Buyer Terms apply to those orders.

Web subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel from the link on your Paddle receipt or by emailing destek@lexorbit.app.
